I am not sure who these advertisers are advertising to but I must run around with much less of an income than these people that they are advertising to. I could MAYBE see a single one of these items as a main Christmas present but certainly not as a little last minute stocking stuffer!
Hello! Sounds like I need to get another side job at least to keep up with everyone else?

I totally agree! I get excited when I think of a few cute dollar items to put in the stockings. I think some people must have money trees in their back yards...or thousands of dollars in credit card debt. I think I'll stick with my dollar items until my money tree starts producing. :)
I agree! I saw a segment on the Today Show this morning on that same thing. My kids get socks and underwear as stocking stuffers. Definitely a different budget.
Yep... I agree! Growing up it was always an orange, a few shelled nuts, some cheap wrapped Christmas candies, a new toothbrush, socks, etc...
That's crazy!
When I was a kid I got a new toothbrush and some candy in mine. When my kids were at home I put candy and socks in their stockings.
How about those commercials along the lines of... "Don't get your wife a cute little bag of peanut brittle for Christmas. She'd love this new Cadillac instead!" Well, maybe she wouldn't like the Cadillac payments.
