I feel that way sometimes.

All I can say is that I am doing my best. I just keep trying. I make mistakes along the way at times but I just keep trying.

Not Happy...

I am losing my amazing secretary in YW. They are moving. So I am not happy...at least for myself. But I am happy for them with their new adventure. (Moving to Texas for a job.)

Sigh. I will miss her organization skills and just generally not letting the girls get away with things... ; ) Don't get me wrong...they are great girls...but sometimes we have to remind them of how they need to be acting in certain circumstances. Plus my soon-to-be-ex-secretary is so fun!

I will miss you, Kattie! (Yep- correct spelling on her name.)

I made a going away card for her that we will give her this week.

(And can I just tell you...I am SO sleepy today. Y A W N!)

Way to go, Cougs for going so far in the NCAA Tournament! We are proud of you! Jimmer did great! The whole team did great! Coach Rose, you are amazing!

Always & Forever...a Cougar fan! Though I feel badly that my 9 year old nephew Ben cried at the end of the game. I guess we all just hoped and thought we might get further in the competition.

Amazed and Thankful and Excited

AMAZED: It is wonderful to see this country's amazing people in the face of this awful disaster. Wonderful in that they have such class and respect for each other amidst the tragedy.

THANKFUL: Happy Thursday. Be thankful for everyone around you. Be thankful for good health. Be thankful for Spring. Remembering all that I have and being thankful for it all tends to come quite easily. I feel very blessed.

EXCITED: And a plug for the BYU Cougars on their continuing quest in the NCAA!!!!! Tonight at 5:25pm! Go Cougs!!!! I will be rooting for you! Beat those Floridians!

Spring Memo

So I guess nature got the memo that spring is here...the birds are chirping a lot more now and the weather is sometimes warm and sunny and then the afternoon could be windy and some rain or snow. The weather switches all over the place in this season.

Welcome to Spring! My favorite time of the year! I guess I like it because it feels like there is hope for nice weather. I've always liked hope.

It just feels good to feel good. I have been feeling a little under the weather the last week or so. Not deathly ill in my bed, but just not feeling quite up to 100%. But I can tell I am getting close to 100% again. I am always grateful after I haven't been feeling well.

...And I am very grateful to have people in my life who stand up for me. Thank you, K & P.

Happily the roads were just wet on my commute but I heard further north that they got a bit more. That is the ending of Winter for you. You wake to a Spring warm day and that afternoon the temp can suddenly drop and it is Winter again. Oh well- I still like Spring.

And isn't it just how it is...finally this morning coming into work at the crazy hour I come in, it is finally getting light out...and this weekend with daylight savings coming, we are back to darkness again for a while. Sigh. Oh well.

Sun Attire

My nieces with their sun shirts on. 2 posts ago I posted the sun I drew...and here are my nieces wearing their shirts with my sun at the science fair. Which by the way, their project should have gotten more than just honorable mention! (Oh fine- just found out from sis that they didn't even get honorable mention!)

One of the big winner projects was about how much weight a toilet paper roll could hold! (Oh yes- that is so important!)

The twins are winners in our eyes! Good job, girls!...and Deb!
