Yep- first a flat bed trailer- attached to a truck- was driving along- one car ahead of me. All of a sudden the car in front of me had to slow and swerve and I figured out why and quite quickly...I too had to slow and swerve. Gratefully the tire was just lying flat on the freeway rather than hurtling towards me or anyone else. It must have fallen out of that flat bed trailer because the truck and trailer quickly pulled over. I have no idea how they were going to get out into the middle lane of traffic to retrieve that tire! And then a mile or two further, an orange work cone was lying in my lane so again I had to swerve a little.
Didn't realize I had to drive through an obstacle course on the way home. Oh, the joy of commuting!
I got home safe and in one piece of which I am VERY grateful. Be safe out there everyone!

I commuted to Salt Lake for years. I never thought much of it - that was just part of life - but now that we live in Smalltown, IL and my hubby rides his bike to work, I can't imagine going back to that commute. I'm glad you are safe!!
