So I remember in elementary school, in North Van, writing a Remembrance Day poem each year and our teacher always had us make red paper poppies to wear that day at school. I remember street vendors would sell real poppies. I always remember how important of a day it was to take the time to remember our soldiers. For all that they sacrifice for us each day.
Thank you to all our soldiers. All of you who sacrifice your lives for us as you serve to protect us. We are VERY grateful.
