Goodness

Packing is a pain. Just saying. I am moving. Wow! I have very mixed feelings. I will miss my neighborhood and ward and city and the people I know. I will miss my YW. They are nutty teenage girls and I will miss them.

I want to live closer to my sisters. It has all fallen into place. And quickly. So I know it is right for me. I know my Mom has been helping me with this. No question.

So I just need to keep packing...I am excited in many ways for a new adventure. But I also get nervous and wonder what in the world I am doing. But I will only be 20 minutes away from where I live now. So not bad. And I will be back and forth for sure. Hah- they can't get rid of me that easily! ; )

And...I get to have a GARAGE!!!!

7 Months Yesterday

Since my cute, amazing, sweet Mom had to leave us. Seems like forever. I miss her smile. I miss her voice.

A Good Day

It was a sweet day today. All of my siblings and their families all got together today for dinner. 

My sweet sister in law Jerri and brother Gary gave me and each of my sisters a gerber daisy plant. I chose a pale pink one.

Then Che' and Jared and Fin gave me an Aunt Mother's Day card. How sweet.

Then they also gave me a birthday card. And a cute pink pig box of tissue and also two very cute Mickey Mouse Disneyland bowls.  They are so sweet to do that.

And then my brother's family gave me a Disneyland Mickey Mouse oven mitt. And an itunes gift card!  So sweet of them.

And here are the Mickey Mouse bowls again. So cute.

And then as a big group we all went to our sweet Mom's grave for the first time. She has been gone for just over 6 months but we just couldn't do it on our own. So we went as a big group of siblings and families. Oh, how we love and miss our sweet Mom! Love you, Mom and thinking of you a lot on this day. Thank you for being the perfect Mom for me and I am so grateful we are sealed as a family for eternity.

A Beautiful Day Outside

Such a pretty day. I had dental work yesterday and the continuation of it this morning. I was worn out. So as I would have to take another half day off for my dental visit this morning, I decided to take the whole day off instead.

So nice. I got some errands run, some plumbing fixed in my home, made an appointment to get much needed contacts, and enjoyed the Spring sunshine...as did a beautiful monarch butterfly. I was outside visiting with the plumber and his 5 year old son and this amazing butterfly floated right near us in the warm Spring air. It kept circling around us and past us and lighted on one of my bushes a couple of times. Each time, little Kaden could barely reach but he reached up and touched the very edge of the butterfly. She didn't seem to mind because she didn't fly off right away. It was really amazing.

I think the butterfly was my Mom. Or at least she sent the butterfly. I like to think that.

Truly Too Much To Do...
