Mom and Dad

They didn't know each other at this age but I thought it would be fun to sit them together. 

Love you, mom and dad. Couldn't have asked for better. Thank you for all you have taught me. I hope I am continually working at living up to what you stand for.

I am very thank FULL. Just a lot to be grateful for. Beautiful sunny days. Good health. Amazing sibs and family. A job that pays my bills and feeds me and puts a roof over my head. Sweet friends. The gospel. The very air I breathe.

Much to be thankful for.

So Many Blessings

I did some service this morning for my church and it just reminded me of how many blessings I have in my life because of what my beliefs are. I am also SO grateful for the family that I have and for the people I know.

Happy Eeyore Day! Glad to be getting rain. Though from the wind and rain we have gotten lately, the shingles that have fallen off my roof aren't a fun thing. Makes things exciting!!! ; ) I hope I can get it fixed soon.

The grass looks so vibrant emerald. Love that.

I took a situation the wrong way the other day. Actually, what really happened is I was feeling sorry for myself and didn't realize that I was affecting others.

I am so imperfect.

Jase, it's your birthday.

It is your birthday today. Can't believe it has been so long since we have spoken. Or how long since I have given you some of those little eensy weensy pinches that you adore so much. Or that I somehow made you laugh. You are the one with all the clever little comments so it was always so fun when I got you to laugh.

I miss you, Jase. I truly believe and know you are doing great things. I can hardly believe it will be 5 years in April.

I hope Momma and Dad are giving you lots and lots of hugs today. And always. Give mom and dad a big hug for me. I have been really missing them this week.

2013...can't complain

As I think about this past year, on the last day of this year, I have much to be grateful for.

Family that is always there for me.

Good health.

The gospel.

A job with regular paycheck.

A great neighborhood that I live in with good neighbors.

A house that I think is quite great. Comfortable and close to family.

Good friends.

A not so bad winter so far. (Cross my fingers and toes and eyes.)

Many, many blessings in my life.
