Girls Camp Kit for LDS Girls' Camp 2015 Theme.

Also included Secret Sister tags, tags to keep track of everyone's items, 17 different certificates to hand out at the end of camp...ex. best cabin decor, best campfire maker, best cleaner, best cook assistant, best listener, craziest camp outfit...and many more. And there is a blank template for you to add what you want too. There is also a food menu paper to fill out for each day. A job chart that you can laminate. And an activity called positive pockets. You glue the pockets together by the flaps and then secretly slip a piece of paper inside that says why that person has a positive attitude. A fun activity. This is a complete camp kit.

I just wanted to say THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH for ALL your hard work! For your beautiful idea of the cruise for New Beginnings, it was such a SUCCESS!!! The workshops, the boarding passes, the overall program ideas ALL came together SO BEAUTIFULLY! To see my Young Women prepare and carry through with hosting their workshops. it was AMAZING! I had our Beehives and a few Laurels cover the work shops, they basically explained that particular value and what they were doing in Personal Progress to either have completed it or what they were working to complete it. Lori, the personal testimonies, experiences they all shared- there was not a dry eye in the house including the young women.



Following your ideas, your outline, it was bittersweet last night, I am waiting to see if anyone got pictures because I would love to send them to you, but the name badges, my goodness my HEART was full of so much GRATITUDE. Thank you for letting me use your idea, because it would not have been successful without your ideas.





I have built such a stronger relationship with my girls, especially my Beehives. As a Beehive advisor, it was just a night to remember. I am humbled to be amongst such a great group of girls I love them. To even get feedback from the parents, YM Leaders, and especially our Bishopbric because my brother serves as 2nd counselor in our Bishopbric and oversees our Youth, both himself and our Bishop, they were both so impressed!!



It was a BEAUTIFUL New Beginnings overall, I can't thank you enough! May the Lord continue to bless your beautiful sweet spirit in all that you do!! Thanks again Lori for ALL your help! I love and appreciate you for all that you have done to make my 1st New Beginnings such a SWEET SUCCESS!

Owl with book

So I created this artwork of this "owl with a book" back in 2009. A couple of people/companies have approached me to have permission to use it.  But I am finding more and more that people/organizations are not asking permission. I just hope they aren't taking credit for it. Or getting paid for it. Since I have never been paid for it. Oh I also found out that someone placed it on a couple of FREE clipart sites. Oh yay. Again they did it without asking. Love that.

Just putting that out there.

I think it is a cute owl.

I appreciate David Hepp from the Marion Library actually being honest and contacting me.

The bishop was the captain. The cruise director was the YW president and she welcomed everyone especially the new beehives. Talked about how each of us have our own journey and living the 8 values brings us safely back to our Heavenly Father. Our presidency all dressed in white shirts and dark pants or skirts. We taped up the "ports of interest" signs at the doors of different classrooms and then we divided up the values with the girls and the whole group moved from room to room and each value was explained. and the girls talked about what each value meant to them.

Then we met back in the cultural hall and the "captain" spoke and ended the evening. with a blessing on the refreshments and we had cruise-type refreshments. but that is up to you.
